Pederson Nordic Trails

The Peterson Nordic area is located on Dead Indian Memorial road 32 miles East of Ashland. Parking is available at the PCT Trailhead. On the north side of the highway you will find the PCT, which is marked with blue diamonds. This trail (more difficult) will take you to the Brown Mountain shelter. Watch for the left fork in the trail at the 2 mile point. Continuing beyond the turn off to the shelter you can ski Glasgow's loop (more difficult) and add a nice 5 mile loop to your trip.

The PCT on the south side of the road is also marked with blue diamonds. The south side offers a number of possible ski routes, most of which are not marked. The snow is often much better on the south side.
